We offer a unique skill mix and depth of experience within this sector – across valuation, accounting, auditing, engineering and asset management. In fact, some of our specialists have been at the forefront of local government valuations since accrual accounting was adopted in the early 1990s.
We build close working relationships with local councils, supporting them in addressing sustainability and meeting long-term community needs. We work with over 85% of Queensland’s and 30% of New South Wales’s local governments, as well as councils in Victoria, South Australia, Western Australia and Tasmania.
We back our commitment through sponsorships and training programs, including our support for the Local Government Accountants Association of Queensland, NSW Local Government Finance Professionals Conference and South Australian Local Government Finance Managers Association.
Our director, David Edgerton, is also an enthusiastic contributor to asset management education, guidelines, research and literature targeted for local government.
