CPA Australia is one of the world's largest professional bodies and regularly provides training and workshops covering public sector specific accounting issues.

As recognised experts in the valuation and depreciation of public sector assets, since 2006, APV has regularly been sought by CPA Australia to provided technical advice and assistance regarding valuation and depreciation issues.

​

This has included - 

​

• Authoring the 300 plus page technical guides to the valuation and depreciation of public and NFP sector assets under the international (2013) and Australian (2016) guidelines

​

• Since 2006 representing CPA Australia on the Public Sector Assets Collaborative Group which is one of three Special Interest Groups of the Asset Institute. The Public Sector Assets Collaborative Group is comprised of the key Peak Bodies and major organisations with an interest in the asset management of public sector assets. Since 2015 APV has fulfilled the role of Group Convener.

• Presented numerous Masterclasses and presentations at CPA Congress nationally as well as running numerous workshops across all States.

• Provided technical input and advice regarding a range of topical issues.
