The Firm’s origins lie in Casagrande & Associates, established by Rick Casagrande to provide specialist plant and equipment valuation services to commercial and public sector clients. In 1999, the business merged with the original Australia Pacific Valuers practice, combining complementary expertise and long-standing client relationships under the APV name.

APV has since expanded its presence across New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia and Western Australia, while maintaining its disciplined specialist focus. In 2022, Michelle Cross was appointed Managing Director. Having joined APV in 2007, she brings extensive operational experience, technical expertise and strong client relationships. In 2023, Quintet Partners invested in APV to support leadership succession, strengthen governance and provide the capital platform for the firm’s next phase of growth.

Today, APV operates nationally as a specialist valuation firm, recognised for delivering accurate, compliant and defensible valuation outcomes for public sector and not-for-profit clients

Over the following two decades, APV strengthened its leadership and progressively refined its focus toward local government and not-for-profit organisations. This strategic direction established deep capability in public sector financial reporting, asset management and governance requirements
